Real-Time Reporters
Real-time reporting offers you the opportunity to view and make digital notes of your deposition or trial testimony as it occurs utilizing software programs available from vendors such as Livenote or Summation. However, not every situation is compatible or for that matter even needed as there are extra costs involved and that should be weighed before making the decision to employ this technology.
Many lawyers use this for the crucial testimony of future witnesses and to also aid in witness preparation of facts and data from prior testimony.
In combination with the transcript management software, today’s lawyer is armed with irreplaceable technology that puts them in the driver’s seat of litigation.

CART Reporters
This is one of the newest adaptations that court reporters have been able to help our communities with, helping people with hearing handicaps. While so many of us take the spoken word for granted, there is a large segment of our community who simply can’t hear very well or hear at all.
CART is a solution to those handicapped individuals for a classroom or educational setting of any type to overcome the problem of hearing what was said. Court reporters or CART specialists write down what is being said and that is translated into English on a laptop computer and the end user (hearing impaired individual) can save that information on their laptop for further use.
Flygare & Associates has been a pioneer in this regard and if you or someone you know would like to learn more about how we can be assistance in this manner, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
